Special Meal is an important part of the airline Catering
service, passengers require a special meal for several reasons, such as for
religion, Health, diet or for tastes preferences.
Special meals Codes:
When passengers place their order through travel agents,
Charter Companies or direct reservations, these special meals are generally
coded into four letters according to IATA (International Air Transport
Association), this coding helps caterers to understand the actual requirements
of the ordered meals, and use the common ingredients suitable for the airlines
and passengers.
